SPANISH SWEET POTATOES

We are pleased to inform you that from mid July we have fresh Sweet Potatoes from Spain.

FYI we have comprised some information that may be useful:

PRODUCT
Sweet Potato: root obtained from a plant of the species Ipomoea batatas (L.) Lam, primarily used for human consumption.

VARIETIES

California, Beauregard and 2 local varieties that we call Local A and Local B. All of them have orange flesh.

ACREDITATIONS
Most of our producer holds their GLOBALGAP certificate. That is a reassurance that their products reaches accepted levels of safety and quality, and have been produced sustainably, respecting the health, safety and welfare of workers, the environment, and in consideration of sanitary issues.

SIZE DESIGNATION

We can adapt to any sizes you may need as client. Nevertheless what we generally do is:

M	150-300
L	300-600
XL	600-800
JUMBO	+ 800

PACKAGING AND SHIPING

We are totally able to adapt to the necessities of your clientele.

Although the most common shipping size is the 6 Kgs carboard box for sizes L1-L2-Jumbo and 18 Kgs for sizes M-XL .

Recently the trend has been toward using wooden or plastic crates packaging with ventilation holes designed to be carried home by the consumer and at the same time avoid any problem with posible humidities of the carboard.

We can also use bulk cardboard bins of 450-500 Kgs or big bags of 1.100 Kgs.
